I have learned to trust my intuition. The female intuition is one of the most powerful forces on Earth, and we have been raised to not trust such a ‘woo-woo’ non-tangible energy. In our Western society, we have been taught to think using stats, facts, and analysis. I am powerful because I believe in my gut feelings and follow them with a trust and a bond that can’t be seen.

“I am passionate about mentoring young women. I bring in college students to work at my company (an interior decorating firm) so that they can learn the real world outside of the classroom. I try to instill confidence in them and make an impact during our time together. I know how valuable mentors were to me in my college days, and I hope to pay that forward.” -Liz Toombs

I really believe the more life you have lived, the more powerful you are! The wisdom and insight gained during a lived life is totally immeasurable. Compassion for others comes from a life lived, both in the winning and losing seasons you have accomplished. When I look back over my life and reflect on the goodness of God, both in happy and sad times, that empowers me to embrace the future with confidence.

I have 60 years of life experience. I could write a book and people wouldn’t believe it. You can not beat true tough life experiences to make you powerful. You know that you can handle everything that comes your way in the future. You can always look back to a life experience and gain strength to help you through another life experience.
